When the app starts, it stops any ongoing audio playback. Usualy i may want having iPod app or radio app playing in the background. Yes i am a developer with iPad and iOS 4.2... So please dont stop any ongoing audio playback when you start your great WeatherCaster. Thanks

Excellent suggestion! So excellent in fact, that we have already fixed the bug and already submitted an update to the App Store, which will take from 2-3 weeks for approval. Be on the lookout for WeatherCaster 1.0.3 for the update.
